Library galleries use a hook-and-cable system or Walker Display hooks and holders. If selected, your pieces must be ready to hang on the day they are installed.

The library has five gallery spaces where regional artists can display their work:
The Virginia Beach Public Library Galleries accept applications for art exhibitions. Individual artists and art groups (both formal and informal) are welcome to apply.
Our selection team reviews submissions one to two times per year, depending on submission volume. Selected local artists can display their work for one or two months, depending on the library branch. Exhibitions are commission-free.
