We are not currently accepting applications. Updates will be posted on this page when applications reopen.
Library galleries use a hook-and-cable system or Walker Display hooks and holders. If selected, your pieces must be ready to hang on the day they are installed.
The library has five gallery spaces where regional artists can display their work:
The Virginia Beach Public Library Galleries accept applications for art exhibitions. Individual artists and art groups (both formal and informal) are welcome to apply.
Our selection team reviews submissions twice a year. Selected local artists can display their work for one or two months, depending on the library branch. Exhibitions are commission-free.
The Meyera E. Oberndorf Central Library hosts new art exhibits every month. To learn more, check out our events calendar.
