Virginia Beach Public Library is committed to providing people of all ages with the opportunities, programs, information and materials to help them meet lifelong learning, cultural and recreational goals.
The City will resume its regular operating schedule on Saturday, Feb. 22. Most Virginia Beach Public Library branches will reopen at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22. The Pungo-Blackwater Library and TCC/Joint-Use Library will open at 9 a.m., Feb. 22. For open facilities, waste collection changes and ongoing updates, visit Emergency.VirginiaBeach.gov. Our digital library remains available 24/7.

Virginia Beach Public Library accepts volunteer applications from minors who are seeking to complete court-ordered community service.
Approval of all court-ordered applicants will be at the discretion of the volunteer services coordinator. The Library need not specify a reason for unapproved applicants.
