2026 Battle Recap
This year, we celebrated our 18th annual Fifth Grade Battle of the Books program! Eighty-four teams, made up of 352 students from 42 schools, registered for the opportunity to compete in this exciting reading challenge.
After a series of spirited battles, our 2026 champions are the Wilder Winners from John B. Dey Elementary School! Congratulations to all of this year’s participants for their preparation, teamwork, and outstanding sportsmanship.
2027 book titles and program details will be released on Oct. 1, 2026.
