Read Across America
Read Across America Day (RAAD) is a day to celebrate and foster a love of reading for children. GrowSmart celebrates every March as a way to kick off National Reading Month.
Celebrating Children
This yearly event is presented by GrowSmart in collaboration with Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation. It is free and open to the public. Programming includes kid-friendly games, crafts, inflatables and more. Included is a family fun run that highlights the healthy development of children through physical activity.
